Getting Taser'd Can Be A Good Thing...

Taser is a young (approximately 1.5yo) guy who stole my heart when I saw his pictures. He's the kid you imagine to be the class clown who's forever thinking of new pranks. He's neutered, plays well with a pug (although a bit too big and rough for the little guy), gave a Bullmastiff male thousands of play bows and has been ignoring cats so far. I just had to help our Southern California folks when his finder stood outside a Wal-Mart store with a "Free Bull Terrier" sign. Taser fell into her hands when her daughter rescued him from a shelter before leaving for school.

We're trying to line up transport for him this weekend or else he's back on the streets with his sign; he has a ride from Canyon Lake to Bakersfield so far. If anyone can help with any legs of his trip to SF/Santa Rosa (or close), we and Taser will be forever in your debt! He's been on a 6ft cable for at least 3-4 months, so be prepared to be tasered with affection when you meet him! Taser loves his crate but may need a teeny refresher in house training.

4/5 Update: Big thanks to Amy of Bullmastiff Rescue for evaluating this big boy, picking him up and bringing him to Bakersfield, and to Janice, Eric, Barbara and Dorey (for being on standby) for making it possible for this big, happy boy to get safely to our interim boarding kennel! Stay tuned for this big galoot's progress!

You know I have already volunteered for the whole transport, right? Just let me know what time and day I need to pick up this guy in Bakersfield or wherever!

Well, Taser made it to Bundocks just a few minutes ago and he is a fabulous dog. He had a long day and lots of trade-offs but didn't seem to affect him one bit. Hope someone will take this sweet guy! what a great dog...Barbara

Thanks, Barbara!

Heard you were tempted to bring him home for a sleepover!

Oh, yes. My husband went with me and didn't want him to come home with us, afraid he would want to keep him. He reminded us alot of Lu-C's temperment. He also fell in love with Stanley, he loves those brindles, but we got out of there quick too! by the way, it was a pleasure transporting him...
